Our ever-popular wood-fired pizza night with farm-fresh sides and salads! Sit in our Harvest Barn with doors wide open, or at tables under our 100 year old maple tree, or bring a picnic blanket! Enjoy our Josh Duo for amazing live music, farm tours, and lawn games! It's a beautiful night out! BYOB.

Find Jess Stone & Nancy Ballek Mackinnon by the Vegetable Barn at the Haddam Neck Fair during Labor Day weekend and ask your burning questions... Buy fresh farm products, perennials and herbs, and enjoy mini-lectures by Jess & Nancy throughout the day on various topics. FREE with fair admission!
East Haddam Farmers' Market
Contra Dance & Dinner
Saturday, September 9th, 5-8 pm
Join us in the Field at Ballek's Garden Center, home of the East Haddam Farmers' Market, for a fun night out dancing the way farmers dance! The Ken Atkins band will lead us through the evening and you will feast on fresh-shucked oysters, seafood chowder, smoked salmon, wood-fired pizza made to order, and freshly made desserts! BYOB. This is a family-friendly event with hula -hoops, bubbles, and activities for everyone!

Stargazing Night at Cold Spring Farm

Come and appreciate the dark skies afforded to us through preserved spaces like Cold Spring Farm with members of the Astronomical Society of New Haven.
*During Social Hour (to keep specialized equipment safe during stargazing times), local fare and refreshments will be available for purchase.
Harvest Celebration & Annual Tag Sale

Shop from your neighbors and friends who will set up shop at the farm this weekend to sell all kinds of goodies, new and old and even antique! Bring the kids for hay rides in the afternoon and pick out your pumpkins, too! Our Farm Stand will be fully stocked with fall decor and fresh produce, too! Meats, cheeses, eggs, produce, herbs, sunflowers, CIDER DONUTS, and more!
Foliage Folk Festival at Cold Spring Farm
Saturday, October 14 from 2pm-10pm
This annual concert in the field will feature the live music of Honey Hill, Noon's Quarry, Dirty Bird, Parsonfield, The Western Den, Blueberry Jam, Hannah Fair, Clouded Filter, The Grays, Plywood Cowboy, and more incredible musicians! This is a benefit event to raise funds and awareness of the local opioid epidemic. Join us in support of this cause--together we can make a difference!

New Life is not uncommon here on the farm and we take the time to cherish and celebrate it. We enjoy sharing our new little bundles with our farm friends and family. In this photo, Jeff & Mason are watching newborn piglets nurse with their Mama, Cinnamon, and we are answering all of Mason's questions about birth and life. These are a few of many animals you will see on our farm.

Please be advised that the GPS address will bring you within a mile of the farm. Our farm is just up the hill from First Beach and the Pavilion. You can visit our farm stand 7 days per week, May-November. Contact us in the off-season for product availability.
