Welcome to Cold Spring Farm’s On the Farm Series 2025! Registration is open for this one of a kind summer experience for your child. Whether they’re an entrepreneur, an explorer, an outdoors-person, you will find it all at Cold Spring Farm.
This is a drop off only option
Children will need to be prepared with sunscreen, a snack, water, and appropriate clothing and footwear. These are rain or shine experiences so dress accordingly!

Kids on the Farm Sessions
Herbal Salves: After Bite Balm & Pain Relief- Learn how to identify & process medicinal plant and make your own healing remedies.
Refrigerator Autumnal Preserves- Discover how to preserve the flavors of autumn with a few simple ingredients through making maple apple butter, tangy hot sauce, and fruity garden salsa.
Nurturing Biodiversity Mini Herbariums- Learn to identify native plant species, collect and create a resource for understanding biodiversity, and its importance.
Haunted Harvest Cursed Culinary - Create spooky “cemetery soup” inspired by the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark , and poison apples fit for an evil queen!

**All On the Farm forms (registration and waiver) need to be completed prior to the session date. Forms can be found on the Cold Spring Farm website under the event tab. On the Farm Forms. By registering your child in any session of Cold Spring Farm’s “On the Farm” Activity Series, you understand and consent to the On the Farm Registration & Attendance Policies.
