Fall Farm Festival

This event follows the end of Summer Market season and carries us into our wonderful winter events! It gives our Summer Market customers one last chance to stock up and purchase from our amazing Summer Market vendors right here at Cold Spring Farm for one last hurrah! In addition, we have a cartload of events planned for everyone who joins us! Purchase food and activity tickets right here on the Farm, which can be used for hay rides around the fields of the farm, hot mulled cider for sipping, fishing and bobbing for apples, a hay bale maze for kids, Picking in the Pumpkin Patch, a pie-eating contest, and more! Farm-made pies, kettle corn and maple cotton candy, fall decorations, can all be purchased to take home. Our fully-stocked Farm Stand will be open, listen to live music on our “hay cart stage,” and so much more!

Winter Harvest Farmers' Market

Kicking off with our Opening Day event on November 3rd, the Winter Market season begins! Be sure to catch us every Sunday for amazing food, vendors, live music, and fireside cheer to finish out 2019! Get your farm fresh breakfast from The Breakfast Barn, incredible coffee, head into the Farm Stand, and tour the farm while you shop with our indoor and outdoor vendors.

Swap Night for the Holidays

It’s that time of year again and it’s all about creating the world we want to live in! This lovely event is an evening for folks to come together to exchange homemade, handcrafted, or hand-raised gifts and share a couple of hours of food and merriment by the wood fire of our beautiful hand-built Harvest Barn.

This is a FREE EVENT that is quickly becoming an endearing tradition on the farm.

If you want to participate, here’s what to bring:

  • 12 homemade, hand-raised (barring live animals!), or handcrafted items (i.e. soaps, jams, jewelry, cheese, chocolate, cloth napkins; the sky is the limit!)

  • 1 Potluck Dish to Share

  • 1 or more friends (who will follow the same instructions), and

  • Your awesome holiday spirit!

Mountain Dulcimer Workshop & Concert

The mountain dulcimer was created by the Scots and Irish when they settled in the Appalachian region of the country in the late 1700s. It is a beautiful, soothing instrument and is incredibly easy to play. 


Learn to play the dulcimer at this “string side up” workshop given by local musician and singer/songwriter Carolyn Brodginski. Dulcimers provided for participants, and no musical experience is required. Stay for a concert afterwards to hear the many voices of this original American instrument.
