Welcome to Cold Spring Farm’s On the Farm Series 2025! Registration is open for this one of a kind summer experience for your child. Whether they’re an entrepreneur, an explorer, an outdoors-person, you will find it all at Cold Spring Farm.
This is a drop off only option
Children will need to be prepared with sunscreen, a snack, water, and appropriate clothing and footwear. These are rain or shine experiences so dress accordingly!

Our On the Farm sessions are split into age groups: Littles on the Farm (Ages 2-5), Kids on the Farm (Ages 5-8), Tweens on the Farm (Ages 9-12), and Teens on the Farm (Ages 13-17).
Kids on the Farm Sessions:
PRESERVE! Refrigerator Pickled Produce- Learn how to make quick & easy pickled produce with ingredients grown right here on the farm! Kids will prepare 6 pickled creations to take home!
Colorful Dyed Fabrics- Calling all color connoisseurs! In this session, kids will explore different methods to color fabrics incorporating natural materials from the farm, and various dye mediums.
Farmer in the Morning- Feed the chickens, collect eggs, feed pigs, and feed the sheep for this morning as a farmer. Then, participate in gardening activities and learn what it really takes to be a farmer!
Sticks and Stones- An imaginative opportunity for kids to engineer and expand upon the Secret Friends Fort (S.F. Fort) in the woodlands ! Teamwork, collaboration, and perseverance will come into play for this adventure!

**All On the Farm forms (registration and waiver) need to be completed prior to the session date. Forms can be found on the Cold Spring Farm website under the event tab. On the Farm Forms. By registering your child in any session of Cold Spring Farm’s “On the Farm” Activity Series, you understand and consent to the On the Farm Registration & Attendance Policies.
