Deliveries by Region

At Cold Spring Farm, we're committed to providing high-quality, fresh produce, meat and dairy from our farm to your doorstep. In an effort to keep on a sustainable-track as we expand our delivery radius to meet your needs, we’ve made a few changes to our delivery service effective 2/5/2025.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver within Connecticut primarily. If you have a special request that may bring us a bit beyond CT’s borders, please reach out via email to see if we can accommodate your request.

How does the new delivery service work?

Each delivery REGION has been assigned a corresponding delivery fee and minimum order requirement per delivery:

  1. Region 1 – Fee: $15.00 delivery, $25.00 Order Minimum

  2. Region 2 – Fee: $20.00 delivery, $85.00 Order Minimum

  3. Region 3 – Fee: $25.00 delivery, $100.00 Order Minimum

  4. Region 4 – Fee: $35.00 delivery, $125.00 Order Minimum

  5. Region 5 – Fee: $50.00 delivery, $150.00 Order Minimum

  6. Region 6 – Fee: $65.00 delivery, $200.00 Order Minimum

  7. Region 7 – Fee: $85.00 delivery, $300.00 Order Minimum

  8. Region 8 – Fee: $100.00 delivery, $400.00 Order Minimum

Please Note: The delivery fees are predetermined based on the relative distance and travel time between our farm and your location. The farther away you are from Cold Spring Farm, the higher the delivery fee and order minimum will be.

When will my delivery arrive?

You'll receive an email notification within a few days of your order to confirm our receipt and the exact delivery date your order will arrive. Our delivery days are region-specific. Keep your inbox refreshed and look out for an email from coldspringfarmct@gmail.com.

How do I place an order for delivery?

Shop our website, add desired items to your cart, and choose your delivery region at checkout. Please be sure to meet the minimum order amount required for your region. Please keep in mind the order minimum does not include the delivery fee. 

*Cold Spring Farm reserves the right to cancel any order that does not meet the specified order minimums. The appropriate delivery fee will be automatically calculated based on your address. 

Can I pick up my order to avoid the delivery fee and order minimum?

Yes! We offer a convenient farm pick-up option. Simply select "Pick Up at the Farm Stand" at checkout, leave a note on your order form for your ideal pick up date, and you will hear from us soon after your order is placed to confirm your pick up date. We have a designated order pick up area inside the Farm Stand. All orders are labeled with your name and number of bags or packages for pick up.

What Is a CSA and Is It Worth It?

A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a partnership between a farm and its community. Members support the farm by purchasing a share of the season's harvest and, in return, receive access to fresh local food throughout the year.

At Cold Spring Farm, our CSA is designed to be flexible. Instead of receiving a pre-packed box every week, members can choose the products that fit their family's needs, including produce, meats, dairy, and eggs.

For many families, a CSA is worth it because it:

  • Provides access to fresh, locally grown food

  • Supports a local family farm

  • Reduces food miles and environmental impact
